We were commissioned to lead the high-tech evolution of a conventional corporate office, turning a legacy environment into a Fully Integrated Smart Building. By harmonizing IT, Security, and Mechanical systems into a single, cohesive platform, we provided the client with a future-proof facility that thinks, reacts, and saves money automatically.

The Challenge: Creating a Future-Proof Digital Backbone

The client required a high-capacity infrastructure capable of supporting the massive data demands of a modern workforce while centralizing fragmented building controls. A conventional “siloed” approach—where AC, lighting, and security operate independently—was no longer viable for their long-term operational goals.

The Engineering of a “Digital Brain”

1. High-Performance Connectivity & Fiber Backbones A smart building is only as fast as its cabling.

• The Solution: We deployed a Structured Cabling Architecture utilizing Category 6A (CAT6A) for workstations and 10G Fiber Optic Backbones for the vertical risers.

• The Impact: This high-speed network supports 1,200 workstations with zero latency, providing the “Digital Highway” necessary for high-definition video conferencing, cloud computing, and real-time data transfer across the entire facility.

2. Centralized Building Management System (BMS) We installed the building’s “Digital Brain”—a sophisticated BMS that integrates HVAC, lighting, and power meters into a single, intuitive dashboard.

• The Strategy: We implemented Daylight Harvesting and PIR Motion Sensors. The system automatically dims LED lighting when natural sun is sufficient and throttles down the HVAC in unoccupied zones.

• The Result: The facility achieved a documented 22% reduction in total energy consumption, significantly lowering the client’s monthly operational expenditure (OPEX) and carbon footprint.

3. Advanced Security & Addressable Fire Detection In an intelligent building, safety must be proactive, not reactive.

• Surveillance: We deployed a high-definition IP-CCTV Surveillance System with localized NVR storage and AI-motion analytics.

• Fire Safety: We engineered a Centralized Addressable Fire Detection System (CFDS). Unlike conventional alarms, this system identifies the exact sensor triggered and sends real-time, actionable alerts directly to the building manager’s mobile device, allowing for immediate response even from off-site.
